First, thanks for stopping by.
Wheelchair softball is fun, but playing games
is expensive. There are teams located all over the country, but that's the
problem! Getting to games requires moving 10 to 14 players, their chairs
and equipment. Most of the games are in a weekend tournament format, which
requires housing and feeding these guys (and some of them can eat!). At
the end of each season, in August, a national tournament is held over four days,
generally in the mid-west.
Our goal is to raise $15,000.00 to $25,000 each season which means that anyone can play, regardless of economic condition.
We appreciate any and all help we can get.
Naming rights to the team are available (heck, for the right amount, we'll let
you rename several of our players)! Imagine the thrill of seeing the <Your
Name Here> Metro Stars take the field. Always wanted to have your own
team? Now's your chance.
All donations are tax-deductible.
Give us a call, we'll send a representative to talk to you and let you know what you can get for you money.
